He has been named the Boston Music Awards "Best Horn Player" three times, and he has been a Berklee College of Music faculty member since 1997. Okoshi and the Quartet will perform original compositions and Louis Armstrong standards, as well as a special composition that he arranged to celebrate the 100th anniversary of Sakura (cherry trees) in Washington and Boston.

“It’s OK to be Blue” at Blue on Highland
WHAT: With the holidays past and several months of cold New England weather ahead, the "winter blues" can creep in and take hold of even those with the most optimistic outlook. Blue on Highland, the upscale modern eatery located in Needham, Massachusetts, has not only recognized this trend, but has created an entire menu to address the annual issue. "Who doesn't feel bummed out a little bit when the winter months roll in?
